NEW INSTITUTIONAL FRAMEWORK FOR COORDINATION OF INSPECTIONS FROM MARCH

At today’s session, chaired by the Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Marija Obradović, who is also the President of the Coordination Commission, the Coordination Commission for Inspection Supervision had reviewed and adopted a number of information and reports on the work of all inspections performed so far, as well as several amendments to the acts regulating their work.

The members of the Commission have, inter alia, reviewed and adopted the Final Report on the Work of the Project Unit for Support to the Coordination Commission for Inspection Supervision for the period 2017-2022.

The President of the Commission had informed the members that after almost five years, the joint project of MDULS, NALED and EBRD by which the Support Unit for the Coordination Commission within MDULS was formed, which over time grew into a Team for Inspection Reform, is coming to an end.

Obradović has said that from March this year, the coordination of inspections will receive a new, institutional framework for work, because a special Department for Coordination of Inspection Supervision has been formed within MDULS, within which the digitization and contact centre activities shall be performed, as well as coordination and further arrangement of policies in the field of inspection supervision.

Special attention at this session was paid to the implementation of control over non-profit organizations, endowments and foundations.
