On 30 March of this year, the interns participating in the OSCE Internship Programme have visited the Serbian-Korean Information Access Centre (SKIP Centre) of the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government.
After visiting the premises of the SKIP Centre with the interns, the representatives of the Ministry introduced them with the purpose and goal of its existence, stressing that the Centre is a high-tech area, which is intended for provision of free training to citizens in the field of computer software, but also the latest digital platforms and information systems.
The interns also had the opportunity to get acquainted, in more detail, with the work and role of the Ministry, especially in the field of Public Administration Reform. Through a discussion on various aspects of work in public administration, they were presented with the opportunities and benefits of employment at one of the state institutions, as well as with the importance of the role of human resources in the process of implementing comprehensive reforms.
The Ministry continuously supports and has been participating in the OSCE Internship Programme for three years, acknowledging its importance for interns, but also for institutions in which internship is performed. In this cycle, one of the interns is conducting her internship at the Sector for European Integration and International Cooperation of MDULS.
