Law graduates are a very important staff for public administration and local self-government, and that is why our task and goal is to help keep the quality of their knowledge and skills at an enviable level. We hope that this Cooperation Program will be just one in a row because we plan to expand cooperation with other faculties, as well as to open the doors of other ministries and bodies of the Government of Serbia and local governments throughout our country, “said Minister Marija Obradovic after the ceremony of signing the Cooperation Program for 2021 between MDULS and the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade.

Obradović expressed the belief that this cooperation will contribute to students their knowledge and skills, acquired through formal education, application in practice and the first preparation team when it comes to entering the labor market and positioning in the business environment.

Dean of the Faculty of Law prof. Dr. Zoran Mirkovic reminded that the goal of the faculty, public bodies, and the Republic of Serbia is that the best students become employed by the public bodies, in order to make the level of public administration in our country equal to the best traditions of European public administration.

The cooperation program was signed for the first time in 2020 in accordance with the Agreement on Cooperation from 2016, with the goal of ensuring the competence of future staff, and providing students with a better starting position in employment and professional performance.

The selection of students for participation in the internship was made by the Faculty of Law, and this year due to the limited conditions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, five interns are expected, organized in the areas of human resources management, capacity building and professional development in state bodies and bodies of local self-government units, registers, European integration, and international cooperation and internal audit.
