RUŽIĆ AND MEDVED: STRENGTHENING COOPERATION IN THE FIELD OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

The Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Branko Ružić, and the Minister of Public Administration of Slovenia, Rudi Medved, discussed cooperation between the two ministries, within a joint session of the two governments, which is being held today in Novi Sad.

Ružić and Medved agreed to intensify cooperation on the basis of an agreement signed over the course of May 2018 and hence send officers to complete internships during 2020.

Having in mind that both countries have established academies dedicated to public administration, discussions were also held on exchanging experiences in the coming period on new types of education.

Ružić pointed out that the National Academy of Public Administration shall start working in a new building soon, as well as that it is preparing an eLearning Programme for next year.

“I believe that all this together, with the adopted Professional Development Programme, shall contribute to an increase more educated employees, and thus better service provision to the citizens of the Republic of Serbia”, concluded Minister Ružić.
