The State Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Maja Mačužić Puzić, has opened the second meeting of the Inter-Ministerial Project Group for professional affairs in coordinating and monitoring the process of implementing the Public Administration Reform Strategy in the Republic of Serbia for the period 2021-2025, emphasizing that this group represents an important part of the Public Administration Reform process, which is one of the priorities of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
Mačužić Puzić has stressed that the Project Group is important not only as an administrative, inter-ministerial level of coordination, but also as a link with local self-government and Civil Society Organizations, as partners that are essential for the Public Administration Reform process.
The Programme for Improving Public Policy Management and Regulatory Reform for the Period 2021-2025 has been presented at the working meeting, as well as the Public Financial Management Programme and the Programme for the Reform of the Local Self-Government System in the Republic of Serbia for the period 2021-2025, whereby the members of the Inter-Ministerial Project Group and representatives of CSOs also took part in the discussion.
Also, the results of the SIGMA Monitoring Report for Serbia from 2021, the Annual Report for 2021 on the implementation of the PAR Strategy, the e-PAPER Programme, as well as the key findings of the evaluation of the e-Government Development Programme 2020-2022, have all been presented at the event, and a thematic discussion has been held following the presentation of the representatives of the Weber platform.
