STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF ORGANISATIONAL SCIENCES TO PRESENT SERBIA’S ECONOMY TO THEIR FELLOW STUDENTS FROM EUROPE

ESTIEM, a student organization from Belgrade, a branch of the Association of European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management, held the presentation on the “Economy of the Republic of Serbia” at the SKIP Centre of the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government today. The event was attended by 25 students from around ten European countries, who were able to get familiarized with the most important areas of Republic of Serbia’s economic development. They showed particular interest in Serbia’s monetary policy in the last two decades.

The student organization ESTIEM LG from Belgrade is a part of the ESTIEM network of the Association of European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management, bringing together local groups from 76 European cities. This project-oriented organization offers to its members the opportunity to achieve personal progress by acquiring knowledge and skills in the field of management, through various projects. The Belgrade branch of ESTIEM has been operating for over 15 years and has more than 150 active members. Its head office is located at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Belgrade.

Last year, for the first time, this student organization delivered a three-day workshop on project management at the Serbian-Korean Information and Access Centre.
