State Secretary
He was born on 15 June 1967. He studied at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade, where he graduated in 1992 and earned the title of Graduate Economist in Marketing.
He gained his first work experience in the period from 1992 to 2004 in the Republic Administration of Public Revenue, where he worked as a tax advisor – controller, or office control inspector. In the period 1996/1997, he completed Specialized Postgraduate Studies intended for Republic Administration of Public Revenue staff, with which he earned the title of Certified Accountant. In accordance with further professional development, in 2023 he graduated from the Diplomatic Academy.
He is a member of the Socialist Party of Serbia. In the period from 2004 to 2008, he served as the President of the Municipality of Žitište. After that, in two mandates from 2008 to 2014, he was elected as a Member of Parliament in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, where he was a member of the Committee on Finance, the Republic Budget and Control of Public Expenditure.
In the period from 2016 to 2017, he served as the President of the Municipal Assembly of Žitište, as well as the Deputy Provincial Secretary for Finance.
From 2017 to 2020, he served as State Secretary at the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government (MPALSG). In 2020, he was appointed as State Secretary at the Ministry of Education, where he held that position until 2025.
He is married and has three sons.
